Personal branding based upon authentic strengths

Our name, Authentic Persona, is comprised of seemingly paradoxical concepts that reflect a universal dilemma - how to be your true self while representing yourself in changing and high-stakes public interactions. Combining them intentionally reflects our philosophy that the best solution is acting in alignment with core values, beliefs, and strengths, rather than memorizing a social script or putting on a mask to please others. We believe that placing authentic strengths first and foremost fosters internalized confidence, better mental health, and richer relationships. Personal branding from this perspective results from the evaluation one's strengths, consideration of how to apply them, structured practice, and affirming feedback. That's exactly what we offer.

Our Story

As business executives, parents, and grandparents we collectively treasure the role of investing in the development of our next generation. And we recognize that people entering and re-entering their careers today experience unique opportunities and challenges. Our teens today represent the first generation raised with internet access from birth, social media from childhood, and entryway into adulthood in the post pandemic landscape. We saw the need for a modern, on-demand, approach to support them that aligned with their current realities, needs, and preferences. Why not utilize technology for a positive impact?

Our group has combined expertise in humanistic psychology, educational theory, instructional design, business, and learning technologies. Healthy human development is at the foundation of our professional experiences and core values. We chose to embrace personal branding as a process model because we recognize it as a proven strategy to define and express value. We view branding as an intentional way to engage and maintain connections. Inspired by the concept of ad slogan - Truth, well told, and based upon the understanding that you don't need to be everything to everyone. Personal branding provides an excellent structure for learning how to consistently and successfully represent oneself in any social situations.
